ANDREA ZECHARIA, PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR

[spacer height=”20px”]

Andrea graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education in 1991. Upon graduating, she and her husband, Boaz, spent an adventurous year living and working in Johannesburg, South Africa, where Andrea was born. When they returned to Toronto, Andrea began teaching at Temple Sinai Nursery School. She took a six-year hiatus to raise her three daughters, Leore, Tamar and Tali. While she enjoyed (almost) every minute of staying home with her daughters, she was thrilled to resume teaching at Temple Sinai again in September 2000.

When her eldest daughter started her university studies in 2012, this kindled Andrea’s desire to further her formal education. She decided to return to Ryerson University for graduate studies (while continuing to teach at Temple Sinai). In October 2014, Andrea proudly received a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Studies.
